Litecoin’s LitePay announced yesterday that they were going to delay releasing Cards because of issues with Visa/Mastercard. Hmmmm why did they wait till the day of the Release to let people know this? When I’m sure the knew this for months if not weeks. With the recent Banking world making a stand on Crypto Currency this issue had to be for seen. How do Litecoin investors feel after all the hype and promises of LitePay Debit Card?

VISA has nothing to do with it. VISA does not issue cards, it provides the infrastructure for debit/credit cards transactions and other processing services. Banks issue cards.

I think the idea of card using has got to become an old way of doing business if crypto is going to become a regular way of spending. I think Apple, with its iwatch method of spending, is the future and it has nothing to do with using a cards. Would be way better to come up with an wallet app for your iwatch device that has your crypto currency account. I think that will be the start of regular spending of crypto currency in a mobile sense. Even if converting it to the U.S dollar or Cad dollar at first to get people using it more, is way better then giving out more cards to people. I would be surprised to see Litepay working by this summer.

The part i like the most about crypto, is that it is an anti-fragile technology. This was only a setback to prove that visa cannot be trusted. Additionally, what's stopping developpers from creating their own debit card which works within the network? This would also include developing the terminals as well, and all you need is a plugin and wifi connection. If i had the know-how and funds to start such a company, i would. I hope someone who reads this could start such a company!!

You mentioned in your video that Litepay has a credit card. It's a debit card. And further I'm not a worried guy. I believe in Litecoin, in Litepay and perhaps later this year Litepal. Problems? Yes, there are always problems.

Thank you for this refreshing message of TRUTH Patrick Wieland. I am following your channel. Litepay and Litecoin are to blame for dishonesty. Litepay blaming visa and others when they knew 1 month ago it wouldn't happen. Charlie Lee pumping Litecoin the day before the debut of the Litepay "visa" card. Litepay CEO on national television the day before the "debut" of their litepay card. These people knew the "card" was NOT going to be released. Visa said NO to Litepay back in January. Dishonesty gets you nowhere but DOWN. Litecoin will Drop and DROP HARD. Do your own diligence people. WAKE UP> My opinion.
